The collection, transport, treatment, interim storage, transhipment, recycling and unloading of waste, the transport and treatment of landfill leachate as well as the collection, transport and treatment of faecal sludge from property drainage plants (small and group sewage treatment plants as well as drainless collection pits according to § 97 Abs. 2 Nds. Wassergesetz in the current version). Within the framework of § 136 NkomVG and the applicable waste regulations, the in-house operation may assume further tasks in the waste management sector. The in-house operation fully fulfils the tasks and powers of the district of Goslar as a public waste disposal provider in accordance with § 6 Abs. 1 Nds. Abfallgesetz (NAbfG) of 14.07.03 (Nds. GVBl. S 273) in the currently valid version in conjunction with §§ 17 and 20 of the Closed Substance Cycle Management Act (KrWG) of 24 February 2012 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 212) in the currently valid version. The in-house operation takes over the tasks of the rescue service for the district of Goslar according to § 2 Abs. 2 des Niedersächsiches Rettungsdienstgesetz (NRettDG) vom 02.12.2007 (Nds. GVBl. S. 473) in the currently valid version. In order to fulfil these tasks, the in-house operation shall establish and maintain facilities in accordance with § 4 Abs. 4 NRettDG, insofar as it is authorised to do so. The in-house operation can also take over or provide other tasks and other services for the district of Goslar and the municipalities belonging to the district. The in-house operation may make use of other institutions or companies to fulfil its tasks.
